No-one could believe their eyes when they arrived to see the Folly half frozen & rather than break ice it was agreed we’d fish peg for peg. Needless to say it was rock hard, but for the lads on the “sunny bank” at least the silvers fed. Pully won...

6th February Folly Lake Open Match…16 fished. Yet another extremely wet & windy day & the heavy overnight rain certainly had an impact as the fish switched off the feed for the majority of the lads… BUT not for Roger Edmond who’d drawn peg 7....

30th January bbbrrrrrrr…Result from Folly…19 fished. Freezing cold, rain, sleet, hail, snow, sunshine & strong winds…what a day!! Odd carp showed all over at the beginning of the match, but most lads had to rely on silvers for consistent bites....
