Weather mild but windy, but at least the rain held off for most of the day.
It was another weird match today, as despite decent conditions, the carp only fed in small numbers, with the exception of end peg 7 .. , (again !?!?)
Tony Coates was the lucky ‘so & so’ to pluck peg 7 out of the draw bag. Despite being told he was on a flyer he wasn’t too happy with his peg, but that soon changed as he caught carp steadily on the tip throughout the day to annihilate the match with 70:14.
John Belton continued his good run of form by taking 2nd with 25:09 off peg 26
Pully did the biz again in the silvers match with a great net of skimmers & roach for 20:02 off peg 15.
