Saturday 14th September
A decent day weather-wise, but the better fish mainly fed on the Folly bank and the dam wall… the lads expected good skimmer catches, but they only fed occasionally throughout the day for most. That being said Jason Moody had over 30lbs of them off peg 9.
1st was Steve Pulford with 104lbs off peg 17.
He mainly fished soft pellet on the deck at 11 – 13m.
2nd was Geoff Boycott with 95lbs off peg 23.
3rd Sid Gray with 67lbs off peg 20.
4th John LeGreco 41lbs peg 16.
Sunday 15th September
The carp had a bit more of a chew for the Sunday match lads… strangely though the skimmers were conspicuousby their absence again.
1st Steve Conlin with 122lbs off peg 16.
2nd Andy Kelly 110lbs off peg 25, (including 20 skimmers, which was rare on the day).
3rd Willy Eyre 104lbs off peg 14.
4th Mick Fenwick with 92lbs off peg 20.
Open Matches are being run each and every Saturday starting on 21st September right through till the end of April.
