Despite pegs 14 right round to 29 being frozen, the match went ahead as normal.11 fished & all went into the silvers match. Even though it was freezing, no one blanked & the silvers fed really well, which is just as well cos’ the carp were as rare as rocking – horse poo. I managed to nick 1st place by fishing wag & mag and mag on the pole on various lines. I had 1 carp & a new stockie for 4:10 & exactly 13lbs of silvers for 17:10.
