Risby Open on Folly

A hard overnight frost slowed the carp sport down a bit, with only odd ones being caught. Thankfully, the stockies fed quite well, and most lads had between 4 and 8 of them mixed in with their silvers.
John ElGreco even managed to catch a rare tench. There were also some large perch and odd ide caught, plus lots of skimmersranging from a few ounces to 3lbs.
Match Result
Rich Willey won off peg 23 with 53lbs 7oz. Rich had a couple of big carp shallow and 4 towards the dam wall for a level 44lbs plus 9lbs 7oz of mixed silvers.
Jason Moody took 2nd with a total weight of 32lbs 7oz off peg 18.
‘Jas’ had a lovely net of skimmers and other silvers for 27lbs 5oz, which won the silvers match.
In 3rd was Robbo with 27lbs 15oz off peg 25.
4th was Pully with 27lbs 3oz.
5th Willy Eyre with 24lbs 4oz off peg 16.
6th Nige Roberts with 23lbs 4oz off peg 31.
