A decent winter’s turnout were disappointed to see even more rain falling again.. hopes were, at best, ‘reasonable’ for a decent day’s fishing.
Yet again though, and when everyone least expected it, The Folly was in top form!?!?
With the exception of the winner, the match was a mega tight affair with only 2lbs separating 2nd and 5th places!
Mick Bavistock made the best of his peg 3 draw, by fishing the method 3/4 of the way over to “fairly tight” to the margins, to land a string of carp ranging from 3lbs to 8lbs. Despite Mick losing a few fish, he put a total of 76:02 to comfortably win the match.

Result
1st M.Bavistock, 76:02, p.3.

If the above main match result looked close, the silvers match was ridiculously tight.
