There was a decent turnout for the midweek open and as the weather had been so poor, it was agreed to do a rover over The Tench & Folly.
The lads fishing the Tench Pond had a few nice skimmers and odd carp, but other than Willy Eyre fishing peg 7, they weren’t in the running for the podium.
Willy fished the method with a 6mm wafter to land 6 nice carp for 36lbs 14oz.
However, the main action was over on the Folly with Pete Suggitt catching quality skimmers from start to finish.
Pete, (pictured below on the first photo), alternated his hookbaits from maggot to pellet to land a fantastic net of all silvers totalling 52lbs 4oz off peg 11.
Robbo pushed him close off peg 30 with another superb net of silvers totalling 48lbs 5oz,plus a stockie of 1lb 8oz for his total 49lbs 13oz.

1st Pete Suggitt, 52:04 p.11 Folly.
2nd Robbo, 49:13, peg 30 Folly
3rd, Willy Eyre, 36:14, peg 7 Tench.
4th Dave Sharp, 23:03, peg 27 Folly
5th Shane Butcher, 20:08, peg 9 Tench.
